The Booster when combined with an Edge hang gliding harness and a suitable hang glider creates an impressive Foot Launched Powered Aircraft (FLPA).  It provides an attractive alternative for an experienced Hang Glider pilot to get into the air from flat land and to lift where unpowered flight can be started.  The unit can also be used for powered cross country flights.

The Booster unit design is unique when compared to other popular FLPA units with only the Radne Racket engine being common.  It features a Carbon fibre monocoque structure and folding carbon propeller as standard.  The Booster has been found to be extremely comfortable, quiet and economical.

The Booster was the brain child of Dr Bill Brooks chief design engineer at Pegasus Aviation and was developed and produced by Pegasus.  Approximately 60 mk1 and 12 mk2 were produced before Pegasus merged with Mainair Sports of Rochdale and support, development and production was moved to Insight Composites.
